Jeff Kowalski is an advisor to Augmenta, bringing decades of experience in software development for design, automation, and manufacturing.
Jeff is presently the Chief Product Officer at Tempo Automation, the world's first fully-digital electronics assembler accelerating new-product introduction. Prior to assuming that operational role, he was a member of Tempo's Board of Directors.
Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Autodesk, a global leader in design, construction, manufacturing, and entertainment software with more than 200 million customers. In his 12-year role as CTO, Jeff led a global team responsible for next-generation research and development and corporate strategy. His expertise centers on innovation - creating and leveraging once-in-era change. Across his 25 years at Autodesk, Jeff directed teams pioneering real-time graphics, cloud-computing, 3D scanning and additive manufacturing, and, ultimately, generative design.
Jeff has an exceptional history of identifying and unifying diverse talent to explore, expand, explain, and exploit technology to create breakthrough customer and business value. He is relied-upon as a trusted advisor known for critical thinking in novel areas, identifying and incubating new ideas, a keen ability for synthesis and insight, and calm problem-solving.
He graduated with distinction from Cornell University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Master's Degree in Computer Science.
